Gloucestershire Carers Hub


Gloucestershire Carers Hub
is a commissioned service by Gloucestershire County Council and Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group and provides a range of services for Carers over the 18 (regardless of the age of the cared for) and all services are free.

They offer information, advice and guidance- this can include many topics such as general care advice, social care process, signposting/ referral to other specialist services, benefits advice, community support and emotional support. They also offer carers assessments, carers breaks, personal wellbeing budgets, a carers emergency scheme, training, skills and development including the ‘YouCan’ programme, health and wellbeing (Carers can engage in six focused sessions reviewing their own wellbeing and are supported in goal setting), emotional wellbeing (Carers can access both therapeutic counselling), health liaison carer discount scheme, engagement with employers as well as peer support.
